i've been married to my wife for over 32 years. last night she decided to tell me that the name she has been using all these years is not her real name. i'm very upset about this. any comments?

I'd be pissed too. What else hasn't she told you? Quickly followed by 'why did she change it?'
It's strange she changed her name yet never told you. Was she hiding from someone?
However if her name was crap then i can totally sympathize. Though why she kept it from you i don't know. Maybe she just didn't think to mention it?

Without any more details I can't really give an informed opinion. If she has a good reason for lying than it's not a big deal.

No big deal, as long as everything else is OK. 32 years is a lot of sharing.

Depends. If her new name is nicer than her old name I wouldn't mind.
