James Patterson: Alex Cross series?
What is your favorite book in this series? I have seen the movie Kiss the Girls but have never read any of the books. I am looking for a book on tape and these seem like they would be fast moving. Can I jump into the series anywhere? Also, which book would you recommend?

honestly, i would start at the beginning, with Along Came a Spider... it kind of gives u the background on the characters and is a really good book. Im currently reading the series now, and im on the 9th book, its so hard to put them down! but a lot the books have characters that cross over, so starting from the first would be the best. my favorite so far is Roses are Red.
