Extracted Teeth Disposal?
What does the dentist do with the teeth that they pull? Do they throw them away? Down the sewer? Do they need to be discarded like used needles and chemical waste?

If they are sterilized properly they can be given to you, but in most states they are required to be discarded as medical waste so they usually go in the sharps containers with the needles.

your last guess is correct unless they believe you have an infection to be biopsied, I was lucky enough to be friends with my dentist who extracted all 4 wisdom teeth. They came out whole and undamaged so he was nice enough to drill small holes in each tooth for me and now I have a very interesting necklace and earrings to say the least.

I got two of my teeth pulled out and the dentist placed it in a teeth shaped box and gave it tom me.

a dentist will never pull healthy teeth because they are too sharp, most likely they would file them or just leave them alone.

They give it to you to keep, I kept my Wisdom Tooth that they pulled out. I have the Wisdom Tooth in my bathroom. It's big.
They clean it for you too,Thats what they did to my tooth.

i think it goes into a container sort of like used needles and chem waste. unless they give them to you like that one person said. that's disgusting.
