Octuplets - Californians are you now angry that you get to foot the bill?

I know this sounds bad but i wish octomom would just drop dead, she pisses me off so much what she is doing to these poor kids.

While it is hard to accept that the state of California

has to support this lady, I can find several people and places

to blame for this situation.

One might begin with her family, who apparently did not manage to counsel her and the doctor, who implanted all of these children.

Even so called "Third World" countries have family counseling,

and yes anyone receiving social services and support from the government should n o t be supported with in vitro fertilization.

(Many women I know would love to have children can't afford

this treatment - and they and their husbands are working).

I understand she loves children- that love might have been

expressed by working in a kinder garden.

What is even more disturbing is the fact that many of the children

will not have a "normal" healthy life.

If you are looking only at $'s,expect to be paying plenty!

Yes im very upset that we have to pay because she had a fertility treatment and wanted all of these kids and now we are paying for them and we don't even know them, i mean come on we all have our own family's to take care of !!!!!! Im 17 that has 6 week old twins, of course their daddy is supporting us the best that he can but GEEEZ how are we suppost to have a wedding with no money!! i agree with Semper Fi!!!

I am beyond ticked off that my tax dollars are going towards her and her responsibiity. I am a single working mom and my taxes are going towards this non-sense. I am furious. I became a single mom at age 18, I went to college and university and got my degree and I support my daughter and I didn't live off of the taxpayers. I am furious

I dont agree with her situation, im quite enfuriated by it accually. But the fact is is that those babies were born into a home that couldnt financially support them, and while it angers me i keep in mind that those are defenseless babies that couldnt make the decision to be impanted via IVF themselves. Someone has to fend for them and i dont mind putting in when their mother cant. That is just me though, i would understand someone not wanting to. But whats done is done, those babies need to be supported some way or another.

THANK YOU!!!!! She is a crazy whack job! I watched her interview last night and it really made me angry. What really gets me going is when she was saying that she is responsible. She has zero income and was living off of student loan money when she decided to do ivf again. I have accidentally gotten pregnant and we did not have a lot of money but we made it work. There is no way in hell at that time in my life I would have got intentionally pregnant. Her doctor should have caught on that she was nuts!

I think that there should a policy in place for the Dr. who performs these implants. There should have been an inquiry into the mom's background.

dont understand why she would want 14 children - has she got rocks in her head - no offence to anyone but i think shes crazy to have sooo many babies implanted

i dont know if in cali if sperm donors details are given to the children or wat but it would be a bit of a suprise for him

You people are angry, but I do agree. I wonder if any of you still disagree completely with abortion after hearing this story.
