I would have expected he would have gotten all this done by now

Ok, while I was not initially for Obama and I won't say that I'm am "for" Obama now, I do feel that the majority spoke on election day and he was declared the winner. He is our country's leader and he deserves our respect, for now at least.
I do think that he wants to do right by our country and hopefully he will.
To answer your question, he's going to have a hard time getting anything done because Republicans are going to fight him tooth and nail on EVERYTHING just as the Democrats treated Bush when he was still in. That is what infuriated me with people who hated Bush, he couldn't get anything passed because of the Democrats!
Lets just stand back and see how the next 4 years go, I bet Obama can't near the amount of things that he promised, in the end he'll be just some other politician too.

I do not think you can consider 3 weeks enough time. he is human just like the rest of us! It happened over several years and will take a few to get back to normal! You will see!

Bear in mind that a lot has changed since the campaign: the collapse of global markets and looming US recession is making it very difficult for him to enact any of his promises. There's no money available anymore for the sort of Keynesian measures he was suggesting.
The irony? This was caused by the Republicans, but they won't be blamed.

No, he didn't. Obama made it clear it was going to take a long time and a lot of work to repair the financial sector and the economy.
If you wern't aware of that, you wern't listening. Period.

Dems control everything now for the time being. If anything goes wrong at all, we know who to blame. Keep up with all the promises here: http://politifact.com/truth-o-meter/promises/

Actually, he went to great length to point out that the road ahead of us will be difficult. Of course he almost always remains cool under fire, but that is just because he is cool, not because he has an easy task ahead of him.

"When you make speeches you elicit expectations against which you will be held accountable"
He doesn't want to be "held accountable"
