Hotels in New Orleans?
I am going to new orleans in July (22-26) with my church youth group for some big national youth gathering there, and I was wondering what are some good hotels... around the french quarter. We are thinking about the Westin...,? I have never heard of it. has anyone ever stayed there.... What are some nice hotels in the French Quarter Vicinity?

I did some searching for you and found 7 in the French quarter that you can compare here : http://www.cheaperthanhotels.com/United-States/New... from around $105 per night per room for wider dates. July 22-26 restricted me to 3 alternatives which were discounted :
The higher the star rating the better the hotel. The Ramada i noticed was right in Bourbon Street.
There will be other sites , but I thought this might be helpful

how much do you have to spend? all the major chains are good, the Westin, the Wyndham, the Marriot, the Intercontinental...but if you are pinching pennies, the French Quarter courtyard can't be beat. I stayed there once, $59 a night & the room was bigger than my apartment at the time! it's not in the best neighborhood, but it's safe enough
