If you add up the figures they mention (total compensation from the last 3 years at Lehman, Bear, Merrill, Citi) it comes to just over $100 bilion. That doesn't include Goldman, Morgan Stanley, JPMC and some others, and it's only 3 years.
I still don't think it would come to 900B, though, because once you move beyond a few huge players, the numbers are much smaller. And once you go back a few years, the bonuses weren't quite so obscenely large. I would expect a grand total of around $500 billion, but that's a wild guess. It's still quite a chunk of change, though.

I haven't got a clue but my guess is a lot more than the amount of all the bailouts and the stimulus Package all rolled together.
I would bet it exceeds 900 billion.
