I think what you're referring to is the "Underground Pedway" system in downtown.

I'm an intern for Ty at 103.5 Kiss Fm Chicago and he sent me & another intern out on January 29 during his show to find the secret pedway system that was featured in The Dark Knight.

We found it, but hardly anyone uses it, it's like a ghost town.. and there is a Macy's attatched to it..it's on Michigan & Randolph.

    Hope that helped.. =]

Hey there!. You watch too much TV. Do you want honest answer ?... Los Angeles is not glamorous, and currently has a gang problem on the westside and around hollywood. Chicago is definitely a lot more glamorous than Los Angeles, especially Downtown. Have you been to Downtown LA ?.. Dead. No shops. I have been to New York City, and it is amazing. But if you mean, which one looks more beautiful nicer ?... I have to say Chicago. It is more modern, and layed out better. The Gold Coast area ?.... it is very similar to rodeo drive. Very expensive, and snobby area with many designer shops. North of Streeterville. So on TV, it may not be. But in reality ?.... It seems to be more than Hollywood in real life. NYC is obviously the big apple, so no question.

There is an old underground and abandoned tunnel system for old smaller trains, but I never been there. I want to explore it!

But I have explored the undergrounds (sewers) on the North side..
