Have any Supporters of Obama become disappointed in his actions?
Full transparency, no pork, no partisanship? Who is he kidding? Pelosi and Ried have him in their pockets.
To all of the posters who assume I am a republican, think again. I am very independent and have no party affiliation. But one thing I am is a tax paying citizen of this country, and the pork in this program is repulsive.
As taxpayers we all lose with this bill, and so do our children and grandchildren.
I do not dislike Obama, quite the opposite. I'm just upset that he hasn't practiced what he PREACHED.

I see him as being too centrist. I did not think for a minute Republicans would support his ideas, and it's a waste of time and money trying for it. We wanted the opposite of what we just had which is why we voted for a Democrat. Sadly, it is hard to tell the two parties apart anymore. Republicans have been favoring gigantic businesses over small, more responsible ones, Democrats have been pushing for half-assed welfare programs that do not pay enough for people to live on (or ones that people who need it can't even qualify for) yet do not help them to get a job making a living wage, etc.
It seems ALL of their actions are for show and nothing drastic is ever done when needed. I am hoping Obama takes a firm, nonpartisan common-sense stance and give up trying to appeal to partisans.

I am not disappointed yet, but I am disappointed in this puffed up stimulus package, which is still only 50% good and 50% bad. Nancy Pelosi wants 30 million dollars for her pet project, a mouse that is becoming extinct, for example.

The real disappointment should be the Obama supporters on the Media that lead this lie Obama could be a leader. The Media saturated all forms of communication with miss information that lead to the election of Obama.
Now we need to survive for two years when we can vote in conservative Republicans and Libertarians. Even the conservative Democrats will lose the taste for Obama, Pelosi, and Reed.

Pelosi and Reid don't have him in their pockets. You can call the stimulus pork, but there are no earmarks. Which is unprecedented in a bill like this.
I never expected him to overhaul everything instantaneously. I always knew the way the legislative process worked and the culture in Washington.
The only thing I'm disappointed in was the vetting process, all the problems with his nominees. It's careless. But a rookie mistake. No one remembers this stuff after 4 years. It's what presidents do in the big moments that come along, which we've yet to see.

Chuck P, so poor people shouldn't vote?
Anyway, I'm disappinted that he didn't lay out a plan for Gitmo before declaring he was going to release them.
I'm dissapointed in the stimulus, a little. He really seems to think that he can "rescue" this economy. It will go through it cycles regardless. I was hoping for a plan that would simply make riding it out a little easier. I think his plan does both, but it still isn't ideal in my view.

"pork" is in the eye of the beholder, and he already came out with rules that increase government transparency. As for partisanship, it's not his fault if the Republicans don't vote on the bill.
I am disappointed in the tax-cheat Geithner appointment though

Not me. I am sick of the GOP members playing politics instead of helping the American people.
