CDs are read only, you can't write to them. CD-Rs are write once - you can't erase them. you can erase CD-RWs - most recording software will erase (format) the disk before writing to it.

In Nero there is an determination observed as :' Burn Multisession disc '. this option shall we you function records onto a CD-R disc AFTER burning something on it. CD-R could be written purely as quickly as. MULTISESSION advise you may upload records to the disc yet no longer ERASE the present archives and hire the excellent disc ability ( subsequently 700MB or maybe 800MB). So, by employing employing multisession you may in basic terms upload archives and in basic terms use the available spare area that remained after burning archives on it the 1st time. EX:i purchase a 700MB CD and burn 500MB of song employing the multisession determination. If i choose to function something later i'm able to in basic terms upload something this is not any larger than 200MB. On a CD-RW you additionally can burn archives greater suitable than as quickly as yet after burning the guidance on the disk you may thoroughly ERASE IT so interior the case provided, after erasing the disc you're starting to be the means to hire the excellent disc ability. On a CD-R you may not erase the already written archives with the intention to jot down something else , yet in basic terms upload records and make use in basic terms of the relax unfastened disc area. On a CD-RW you may thoroughly erase the guidance on it and write something else using the excellent disc ability.
