Try checking for dampness and / or lack of ventilation in your home.
If you have tried all of that then there may be a problem with a neighbour's home or something outside. Have you tried treating your gardens?
You could also be picking up fleas on your regular walkies route. Make sure that you remove your shoes before going indoors.
In the meantime, buy bags of cedar shavings and use them throughout your home. Sprinkle them in your clothes wardrobe, your dog's bedding, everywhere.
***Here is an important tip! Your vacuum cleaner is one of your best flea weapons.
If you have a bag-less, keep a good quality flea collar in it and vacuum VERY thoroughly as much as you can. Be sure to clean out the container religiously immediately after use at least twenty feet outside of your home. Buy a new flea collar every two weeks to drop into te container.
If you have a bag vacuum then buy a quality flea powder and put at least a teaspoon into each bag. If your bag is not full before your next vacuum then keep it in a place, preferably outside, until you can dump it.
There is no easy answer to fleas, I just do not understand why they are still there.

Get to a health food shop / herbalist. They can help you.

front line on a pet does work, but you also need to get the home flea stuff from the vet aswell, shop stuff just doesnt do it! we had fleas once and after spending lots and lots on pet shop home flea sprays with no luck we caved in and brought from the vet, expensive maybe BUT nowhere near as much as your spending long term on buying product after product that doesnt work from the shops.
Once we had brought both the front line and home flea spray from the vets we were flea free within hours and the stuff protects for 12 months so really worth it!

You need to treat your entire house. All your furniture, carpets, bedding, everything. Get some spray and spray along all the baseboards. They sell spray you can use on your furniture. You might want to try something other than Frontline. Also, you can often order stuff online for cheaper than you'd get it at the vet. At least that's how it is here. I use Petshed.com.
