Please help me with a Disney World hotel question?
I've stayed in a lot of your basic national chain hotels and I prefer to stay in those that have beds that are comparable to at LEAST a Marriott. So,..which hotel(s) on the resort property would be comparable to that? The room doesn't have to be huge, just comfortable and clean.

You definitely want to stay in a Disney owned hotel. You want to take advantage of the free transportation and extra magic hours in the park. Don't be fooled, there are alot of hotel ON property but are not owned by Disney, so the buses might be a different and could have much longer waits. As for the beds, any Moderate resort will be very nice and comfortable. Coronado Springs is good, and so is Port Orleans/Riverside. If you are traveling with kids, Animal Kingdom Lodge includes some rooms that have one queen bed and a bunk bed. (the kids always love it because you walk out onto the porch and there are giraffes and zebras right outside) It also includes trails that let you go even closer to the animals. Caribbean Beach is also a nice resort with comfortable rooms and a nice calm, beachy atmosphere. If you are and outdoor person, Fort Wilderness Cabins are GREAT. Each cabin includes: a small living room with a MURPHY bed that pulls out of the wall, a small kitchen, a bathroom, a bedroom with a double bed and a bunk bed. Fort Wilderness is GREAT and alot of fun. It is a big place, so you can rent a golf cart and go around the whole resort and see the beach. It includes a ferry to Magic Kingdom and baots to rent yourself. It is a very comfortable place. ALSO, if you have a camper or RV, you can take it and stay in Fort Wilderness. Then you don't have to worry about the beds! Hope I helped!!

Every time I go to Disney World with just me and my mom, we stay at the Sheraton Safari. It's not a Disney hotel but it's very close to all the parks and it has reasonable prices for one room with two beds. It even has a decent swimming pool with a slide that is shaped just like a snake and on the slide you pop out of the snake's mouth.
The hotel is themed Africa and safari and they have the most stunning decorations and furniture. Also, a really good thing about this hotel is that it is across the street from a lot of shops and restaurants. Instead of always eating at your hotel or paying for a taxi ride to a restaurant, you have everything walking distance from the hotel. So yes, this hotel is great and absolutely affordable. This isn't a Disney hotel but it is very close to all the parks and free shuttles can always take you there. You should really consider staying at the Sheraton Safari hotel.
Here's more information on the hotel:

I stayed at the Hyatt Grand Cypress. My Wife and I were trying to figure out how to get the bed out without anyone seeing us, just kidding. Best I have ever slept on. Plus the hotel is amazing. We got a $300 a night room on price line for $90, plus they upgraded us when we got there.
