Can you tell me about various speed rankings of computers?

My computer speed is 10/100 Mbps Ethernet...

Is this slow, moderate, fast or what?

I am not sure what this means...

    thats the speed rating of the network card it can handle 10 or 100mbps 100 is pretty good, the later network cards use 1gb, but if you get it running at 100 thats fine for most uses

    All that is referring to is the speed of you network interface card, not the overall speed of your computer. 10/100 is quite common for a desktop computer network card.
