Impossible Crossword answer? Help please!?
My Religion teacher gave our class a crossword puzzle for our current chapter. All of it was simple except I can't figure out what the last word is. The clue is - Calling on God to testify to a lie. It is seven letters long and all I know is that the last letter is a Y.
I searched through the chapter and our Religion Book's Glossary but I couldn't find anything. Please help!

I don't know if this is the word or not, but perjury is 7 letters, ends in y, and is testifying to a lie under oath. Would that fit?

I dont really know the answer but I just wanted to say that I dont think its TESTIFY since that word is in the clue.

Probably a Spelling Error. If it makes you that upset, check the Magazine's Website to see if they published any errors.

Well maybe you have the Y wrong, because all I can think of is "CONFESS". Good luck hun.
