When installing Windows XP, is it essential to use a Windows 98 boot disk?

Nowadays I don't see that many People use the notorious Windows 98. Its seem forgotten now. However I do know that when you install Windows 98, its essential to use a Windows 98 boot disk by running fdisk. Now what about Windows XP? Do you think its essential to use a Windows 98 boot disk when installing Windows XP? I do know that If you install Windows XP home and Windows XP professional, you do have to make sure the first boot device is set to CD-ROM. I wonder if there are boot disks for Windows XP. Thanks for your advice, I am just curious.

Windows XP uses the install cd as a boot disk. You do not need floppies for XP.
