Should I buy an Onkyo TX-SR606, Onkyo TX-SR706, or the Denon AVR-1909?

I need at least 3 hdmi connections. Need to hook up Xbox 360, PS3, and an AT&T HD Receiver. Will also need a component connection, and an optical connection. Is it worth the THX label on the 706? Is a Denon that hard to setup? I don't like the Denon remotes but I like the way the receiver looks compared to Onkyo. The green Onkyo font isn't as nice looking. The hdmi connections must NOT be passthrough only.

Wait a little bit as the new Yamaha receivers are coming out and will have 4 HDMI inputs.

Hey, amongst Onkyo and Denon Receivers one basic difference you should keep in mind is that Onkyo has Good Hi-freqn output while Denon is good on Mid-Freqn. So u need to take a call based on yur choice of music. Secondly in India Onkyo has direct existence unlike Denon which is relying on distributors for providing for service. u can expect better support from Onkyo. About speakers dont even consider the Polks RM series those r the worst speakers you can buy. Try out the Jamo 102 these r beautiful speakers and they sound good too.

Wow Jeff that sounds horrible you have nothing but junk in a box.. why would you have small sat. speakers with 3 subs. the freakins subs are going to override the speakers you wont even be able to hear them ..... people who just throw things together... i would say go with the denon... its a high end manufacter and they power supply is alot better than the onkyo... the 1909 can do audio and video through hdmi.. so you can get the hd sound quality for your blu ray movies ... also has second zone.. it is harder to set up but when its done and done right you dont have to worry about it anymore...

i would go with the Onkyo TX-SR606 in Grey. it has a nice classic look, and yes the denon will be significantly harder to set up that any of the onkyo series but it also is more versatile. like a huge steam train verses a small one, its alot harder to operate but you will get more out of it. also the denon looks to modern, if thats what your into than cool but i prefer my audio equipment to look classic as appose to modern
