Why wasn't Jr penalized? maby cause his daddys Dale Earnhart?

he wasn't penalized because unless you are a Dale Jr hater, a fan of a guy that got dumped out OR Darrell Waltrip (a guy that owes the Earnhardt Family more than anyone) you can see that Jr was trying to pass & was run down past the yellow. when he tried to get back in line Vickers got taken out.

But as JimM pointed out Jr is a 2 time back to back Busch Series Champion (only 6 drivers can boast that) with 17 Nextel Cup wins and the winner of the 2004 Daytona 500. He is the most popular and favored driver. (Sorry guys just stating facts, just cuz you don't like him doesn't make this statement untrue) He also became the first rookie to win the All-Star exhibition race. He's won the Talladega race 5 times and he's been in 7 music videos. He's also a very likable guy and hardly anyone has issues with him on or off the track. well i am a JR fan, sh*t happens, funny how everybody wants to assume sh*t, what would you do if you were in an accident and everybody pointed fingers at you before even hearing your side of the story, all he was doing was getting back in line so he doesn't lose anymore position, everybody in a race has somehow started a wreck before, doesn't mean they did it on purpose, stop crying about it, and did you forget that he was penalized 1 lap for having the front right tires on the white line in the pit, if he was what some of yall say then they would have let that slide, i wish some of you people would grow the hell up

you folks that think Jr did not mean to do that are smokin' the wacky tobacky !!! After the race, Jr will say: "Errrrr....uuuhhhh...(then readjust his cap, and wipe his head) ...I'm sorry and I didnt mean to do it"......AT LEAST he should have been penalized 5 laps...that's what they did yesterday for a like happenstance.

Facts are Jr. was driving a stupid race. This is his 15th race at Daytona. He risked taking the whole field out because he was stinking things up. I dont think Jr's lack of charity and selfishness will ever come out, for all it's worth, though..He's idolized by too many people...

Someone, I believe Leffler, was penalized 5 laps in Nationwide for the same thing and we have a seperate set of rules for JR? I thought it was called NASCAR racing, not JR racing. Or that the rules were NASCAR's and for everyone, I didn't think that we had a seperate set of rules for him but right now I don't know what NASCAR does. During the toyota all-star show-down, Logano had the race taken away for a racing thing that they called rough driving but we can't see something that is right in front of our faces? wow we must be blind. I am beyond pissed. He cannot win the race and doesn't deserve it at all

One race...one wreck...you people act like the season is over because of this one race...guess what I would bet you a million dollars some big names are going to make mistakes and stupid moves during the season that we all wind up saying how stupid they are and how they deserve this and that and whine whine whine...move on people! The season just started I promise you this race and that stupid move didn't make or break anyones season

I dont know why he wasnt penalized for that, but he has been penalized today, in the pit road. So its not like he doesnt get penalized ever.

Do you really think that Dale Sr. has something to do with this? He died on this track- Daytona 500- remember, maybe you weren't born yet....anyhoo....Jr was in an accident, and that is RACING!
