Are these cavities in my teeth?
I have a few teeth that have some darkish lines and stuff on them, I've looked on the internet and this is the closest picture to how they look

They don't hurt or anything, but it has been a while since I was last at the dentist. I brush my teeth twice a day, in the morning and before I go to bed and I don't drink much fizzy juice but I do eat quite a lot of sweet sugary stuff I suppose.
Are these cavities in my teeth? Will I need fillings?
The marks don't go away even when I brush my teeth really hard, they are there all the time.
A couple of my teeth look a little bit worse than the picture, the marks look darker, and occasionally if I eat something really sweet I will get a bit of pain - does that happen with cavities?

I had a patient that presented with the same condition. I did find cavities, but the black lines on her teeth were just stain! If you are in pain when you eat something sweet, it could be cavities. Don't freak out just make an appointment with your dentist.

No those might be from eating candy or chocolate and you didnt brush your teeth before you looked at them. When you chew your food sometimes it gets stuck in the cracks. I would make an appointment because you do need to see a dentist every 6 months or so.

Yes, they probably are cavities, I looked on the website and under the picture that you linked to it said that there was dental caries in both of those teeth.
Definitely if you are getting pain with sweet things they are cavities, you need to go to the dentist and get them fixed.

this picture is not of ur teeth ??
anyways i can tel u whats wrong with this picture/teeth
the last tooth has a cavity developing...the white flaky area is a developing cavity and will need attention
as for the lines on the tooth they are normal and are usually very difficult to clean hence ur extra effort to brush em away are proving unsuccesful
and the teeth have plaque around their basis and the person needs to improve his/her dental hygiene.
please look up the terms fissurotomy and fissure sealants

First of all it is probably just staining. And second of all fillings are not that bad. You just get a shot that you don't feel and he goes. But it is probably just staining but I would check with my dentist at least once a year.
