please help me with math?

How do I write six times the difference between a number and five is greater than the quotient of five times the nuber and two?

I'm pretty sure that the first half is 6(x-5) >. Its the second half I don't know how to write.

    6(|x-5|)>5x/2

    Spot the "|" marks.

If the number is 7, the "difference between the number and 5" would be 2. No problem.

However if it's 3, the difference would still be 2 (as the question is worded). The "|" marks mean "Make it positive" (absolute value).

    6(x-5)>5x/2

quotient of five times number (x) and two means 5x/2
