Difference between number and 5: x - 5
Six times that: 6 (x-5)
is greater than: >
five times the number: 5x
quotient of: 5x / 2
6(x -5) > 5x /2
Solve like an equation:
12x - 60 > 5x
7x > 60
x > 8 4/7
Smallest integer: 9
x = 9: 6 ( 4 ) > 45 / 2 [ 24 > 22.5 ]
x = 8: 6 ( 3) < 40 / 2 [ 18 < 20 ]
