At the moment its averaging around 65-75 degrees. Is that too hot?
Thanks!

The same heat you would get holding a nice cup of hot chocolate

My laptop gets quite hot also - how did you measure how hot it gets?
I have started to get pins and needles in my fingers and I am not sure if it is in connection with the laptop. I should get in touch with Sony to see if it is common problem, when I got in touch with HP they sent a link to change the BIOS but I posted a question on Yahoo and was advised not to change it as it would not change the heat I was getting. I understand they all get warm, someone also said to clean the ventilation points underneath carefully and put something underneath so the air can circulate.

it depends on how long it has been on. if it has been on for a couple of hours then it should be quite and hotter if it is charging as well. if you only just turned it on and it is that hot you should probably get it checked. :)

thats very hot!!! try using a laptop cooler (dont know what theyre called) but they have two fans on them and you place your laptop on top in order to cool it down.
I have one... very effective... very cool.
