if it is in sleep mode just hit the Esc key and sign back in. Or try rebooting.

Restart is easiert, or you can Press CTRL+ALT+DEL bring our task Manager and End Task of the frozen programes if any program is frozen

i usually turn my computer of with the buton on the back and reboot, but otherwise you can move the mouse aorund, until it wake sup again.
but the fastest way is to reboot.

well i don't think you can save whats on there, you're gonna have to reboot it. if it doesn't turn off just un-plug it. it's not the best thing for you're computer but it it's not co-operating you're gonna have to.
