CQ duty how much more worse will this make it.?

http://cosmos.bcst.yahoo.com/up/player/popup/?rn=3...

CQ duty is a pain in the butt anyways and now with this it will be even worse I'm sure. What kind of changes will you think come from this?

Update:

You can easily sneek people in barracks I mean the way we used to run it we only had one door guarded. Even though you aren't suppose to use the side doors it never stopped anyone.

Something similar happen at one of my duty stations. Two under ages girls were found in a barracks room drunk and pass out, nobody died, thank God. The problem with this incident was that the Orderly room was in a different building than the barrack, which were made up of about six or seven building if my memory serves me right. Needless to say, the guys who's room they were in had no azz let after the Top got through with them and the Art. 15's they got didn't help either.

Yes, CQ can be a b*tch sometimes and when you've got young men in a group as large as a company, stupidity and testosterone rule the day. And it was most likely not the fault of the CQ. Those barracks building have more than one entrance/exit. What is going to happen for now is there will be people positioned at ALL the doors to prevent guys, or gals snicking in unauthorized bodies.

CQ is boring and lame and paperwork. Just make sure the place doesn't burn down or ppl aren't bringing outsiders into the barracks. I don't know what you mean by worse. CQ isn't that damn bad, stop whining you could be scrubbing stones all day for no reason.

Probably tougher on the Staff Duty NCO's and Officers. IE making rounds more often, checking and rechecking the barracks sign in's, the CSM popping in at unsuspected times, and although we aren't supposed to do it, no more sleeping rotations with NCO's and lower enlisted.

Oh yeah, and if your unit allows TV's, Ipod's, PSP's or reading material, it's probably bye bye to them too.
