How much will it cost to fix a "rear end" on a 2001 Blazer?

Just had my blazer towed in and they think its the rear end of the differential that's broken, about how much do you think I'm looking at?

Toothpaste? Hmm i've got in no way heard of that. How approximately Meguiar's ScratchX? If that's a larger scratch purchase a $10 bottle of touch up paint from the dealership. the hot ones have a pen on one end which makes it superb for scratches.

...it's "labor intensive"... just a lot of bolts and nuts and time... call a "Shop" and ask them for the 'Flat-Rate' to change out a differential in a 2001 Blazer... take the hours it takes and multiply by their hourly labor rate and you'll know... plus the cost of the rear-end. (get a good one at a Junk-Yard... new will "burn your bank account" !

They THINK it's the rear end. I would want a much better diagnosis than that. What is your specific problem ?
