Reliable source for purchasing download of Photoshop Elements?
OK I think I've been ripped off by a purchase of Photoshop Elements from a co. that couldn't seem to supply me a valid serial number, so I'm wondering where can I safely download a trial version of Photoshop Elements and THEN pay for it if it actually works?
Second question: I'm running a MAC OSX 10.4.11 with a G4 processor. Which Photoshop Elements will work the best (fewest problems)? I'm really just photo retouching mostly. Thanks for ANY help....

Photoshop Elements 6 will work fine on your Mac. You have to download and purchase from Adobe.com. It is the ONLY legal site for Photoshop downloads. However, you might want to go ahead and buy it in the box, that way you have (1) a disk and (2) a serial number in the box. You don't have to worry about the download possibly being corrupted. You can order the program from Amazon.com as well as other places.
