Has anybody here seen a smart car?

Sorry, but those cars are the most ridiculous things I have ever seen. They remind me of a clown car -- I keep waiting for about 20 people to come piling out of it!

I see one every day - in my driveway. I've owned one for over two years now and love the car. It's great for driving around town, and I love it for trips to the city. You'd be surprised how much can be packed into one of those cars after a trip to Costco.

They are an unusual looking car, but when I'm getting 75mpg (in the diesel version that we had in Canada years before the US got the gas version) I don't really care what others may think about how it looks. It's my car and I like it. We're all entitled to our own opinions.

I live part of the time in New York (in the suburbs) and part time in Delaware. I've never seen them in NY but they're everywhere in Delaware for some reason.

They're kind of strange but I'd rather see that than a gas-guzzler.

I KNOW, there are a couple in town here, and ONE of them is driven by a REALLY big big guy...he takes up the whole thing, the first time that I saw it and him I giggled about it all day!

Smart Cars are one of the ugliest things ever invented.

If they make it sexier, I'll get one. I'm pro-enviroment .

  • Great for the city life... not so much for the country, where you need to carry loads of groceries to your residence.
