About how many files do you think an 8gb flash drive might handle?
I take alot of pictures that I like to store on them. Ive got a 1gb and a 2gb that i want to combine and transfer on to the 8gb.

It really all depends on the size of your photos. If you have an 8-megapixel camera (which is pretty much standard these days), you could probably fit roughly 1000 pictures on there.
