Sarah Palin has to pay back taxes. Is she going to join Obama's cabinet?

Looks like Sarah Palin forgot to pay some taxes:

Could she be the new Health and Human Services Secretary? Will Republicans disown her because of her tax troubles?

How do people like this become a "top contributor?"

Anyway, back to the question, Palin isn't qualified to serve any cabinet position.

i think of there's a difference. I even have heard that she did no longer fail to pay them---she became into advised that some deductions weren't allowed after the reality. the cupboard nominations basically flat out did no longer pay. a minimal of in accordance to what I were analyzing.

That's an amazing stretch. State officials literally went back over PAST payments and said "we JUST decided those are taxable."

In contrast, Obama's cabinet (pretty-much all of them) actively avoided paying theirs.

Anyway, the way you put it still disqualifies her. Forgetting isn't good enough, you have to be an actual felon.

If it was per diem and was legal then she should not be guilty of tax error.

*LOL* If per diem is taxable them almost every military person who ever served is guilty of makeing an error on taxes. In the military per diem pay is non-taxable. Why would it be different for other government agencies?

I'm not sure she only owes on per diem payment, not actual income. Probably because she's not a millionaire. But she's certainly one step closer to one of those coveted positions. LOL

again..what you seem to have missed this part of the Statement, "under a new determination by state officials"...which means that what she did was fine then but now "under a new determination by state officials" she would owe the tax. Damn you people are. *****

This isn't any different than not reporting the use of a car...

It's hilarious that republicans will defend one of their own, but they cannot see that it is the EXACT same as those nominated by Obama.
