You sound a lot better than I thought you would.
The only advice that pops up to my head is to sing from diaphragm more, open your mouth and don't hold that pretty voice of yours back.
If you want to improve (you can never stop improving), then do vocal exercises everyday, even for at least 15 minutes. There's videos on Youtube if you can't afford a singing teacher (like many of us *sigh*).
Always warm your voice up before singing. ALWAYS.

I like your voice however it is a bit raspy in several parts of your cover, you just need to learn not to sing from your actual throat which can come from any singing teacher/lessons. To get a record deal would probably take you depending on how quickly you take up lessons anywhere around 2 years, unless you have connections which always helps in the industry. Meaning getting any small gigs at live coffee shops, whatever it takes. Good luck and follow your dreams!

your not bad, it always sounds better when you have the music backdrop... it will take a while to get a record deal but hey nothing worth getting is ever easy!!
