What about the acai berries?

Ok. I've heard a lot about this acai berry stuff. But every "first hand experience" I've heard is the exact same story as the first, but with the names and locations changed. Does it really work? I'm really looking for people who have tried this themselves or know people who have tried it.

I've been working hard to lose weight after having a baby (nearly two years ago now!) I'm not having much luck with it. Are these berries really the miracle food that they are claimed to be?

I actually tried it,,but didn't stay consistant like ya should...I took the pills...I didn't find any results at all, and actually canceled my future orders..

My son told me about them and swears by it or so it seems to work...he ordered the drink and drinks it daily...It did show results on him but I know he is determined and also started working out..So it might be that or the drink or both...

It isn't cheap at least what I saw..and got.

I heard they are berries from trees in brazil in the rainforest but I am not really sure since I never looked it up..

If you try them , GOOD LUCK,,I hope it works on you,,It didn't on me.

I heard they are good for others things too , like arthitis and joint aches and pains , that I didn't notice really.

But they are all natural or so they claim ,,which is a good thing. So they can't hurt ya unless ya are alergic to them.

There are a lot of complaints made about the acai berry "free trial" sites. I'd avoid those. (I had a company charge me $86 even though I'd already canceled in time to avoid it!)

If you want to try acai berry, most Walmart stores have them in the vitamin section or you can order them from a reputable vitamin store online - and make sure the price is low. Some places are charging ridiculous prices for their acai supplements. Acai berries are very high in antioxidants and they have other benefits as well, like helping you stay regular. The biggest benefit I've had is reduced food cravings. So it did help reduce my appetite enough for me to avoid binge eating. Maybe they can help you too, just don't get suckered into spending a ton of money when you don't need to.

There is a site that has information about companies that were scams (including the one I tried):

Acai Berry really works but you need to read this blog to avoid scams

    http://acaiberryscams.wordpress.com/2008/12/23/ive...

There are many people around which complain that Acai Berry does not work, but they don't know that they're using fake products!

Thanks to this blog, it helped me a lot to choose the best.

    Hope this helps :-)
