Research Paper/Debatable topics?
I have to write a 10-12 page research paper for my college english 201 class. I have to also give a 10 to 15 minute powerpoint presentation that goes along with my research paper. The topic has to be debatable. He gave us an example: Legalization of Marijuana. We can't use that topic. I need something that will be easy to talk about for 15 mins. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Gun ownership debate
Debate points like how many guns are enough, what the pro in the gun ownership society and whether it be limited or being let free.
Even topic like how powerful gun lobbyists are in influencing presidential election through their donation.
Comparison with other country like Australia that banned gun entirely and seeing how it is after years of total gun ban.
Interesting and easy to research, as there are tons of pro and contra view of this topic on internet.
NRA website will obviously provide a lot of the pro owenership to the extreme, I'll give yuo some links on the gun research
