Are there any good websites for finding guitarists?
I am a singer looking for a guitarist and I am having a bit of trouble finding someone. I have posted an ad on craigslist, but have not gotten the kind of response I am looking for. Are there any sites where I can browse ads for people looking for singers or guitarists/musicians besides Craigslist? If you say Myspace, please list where on myspace I would find them, because I have looked and can't seem to locate where this would be! Thanks.

I think it depends on what you are wanting. If you want someone local to "play out" then if I were you, I'd post notices at local music stores (guitar shops specifically) and local venues for live music.
The best thing you could do is probably hit open mic nights and ask around (especially the host as they generally know lots of musicians.)
If you are looking for a guitarist to co-write with (ie put music to your lyric etc etc) then online there are many forums.
you could try: http://fawm.org/
As right now there is a songwriting competition going on in which you are challenged to write 14 songs in 28 days (in the month of February) and lots of people are busy doing that. Just hanging out, talk on the forums and listening to music. After the 28th, lots of them will be around listening and posting on the forums. I've collaborated with a couple of lyricists that way.
