Need some help with Ebay ?

Hi

I bid for an item on e-bay and won the item. There were 2 same items for sale from the same seller. When I went to pay for the item the seller told me that she couldn't sell it to me cos was 'damaged'.

But there was a photo so why didn't they see this when taking the photo and why list it when damaged?

If I didn't pay for the item I would have been reported for non-payment.

I don't know what I can do.

Was there only One to sell ?

Or shall I just leave it?

Make a report to ebay.Explain to them what has happened. It may be worth contacting the seller again to see, what has happened to the item you have won,it may have been broken since the photos were uploaded to her auction etc.The seller has a right to explain why you are not receiving your item.Contact ebay customer services, they will help you get this sorted..

Generally on Ebay, you are dealling with an honest person, the item could have been broken and the person didn't realise it. Something as simple as that.

Just make sure that any comunication that you send to the seller is through Ebay. This will help. If they don't wish to sell, just back out of the deal, oh and always check there feedback how long they've been on Ebay, and use your own common sense as the site is basically a way of selling second hand junk for cash, at vastly inflated prices.

You can very often find a brand new item a lot cheaper than going through Ebay.

Obviously check there prices but also use site like amazon as well.

Sounds like she just doesn't want to sell to you at the winning bid and probably wanted more. money. It is a bit of a con and you can file a report but I find ebay not to be that helpful in this situation. You will probably just have to suck it up

Make a report through ebay, keep the email and send that to them also. They will make sure you don't get a non paying bidder strike on your account.

Have you emailed her and asked her what she wants to you do?

It sounds like some kind of con to me though, be very careful
