Why isn't there an Islam section in Y!A?

There should be a section for all religions... Ramdan is the only section which most Muslims will be at so we're always here. R&S is just full of annoying questions of athiests arguing with Christians mostly.

Going into the Religion and Spirituality is not for the faint of heart if you are a Muslim. You can say and express your yourself and your beliefs in the most gentle of ways there only to be bashed. I have never seen a category so intolerant as R and S it should be called Christianity. But it is not so one could say Ramadan is the Islamic category. However many do come with non Ramadan or non Islamic Q's and I have always felt that that is fine since there is no Islam category and I think that it is great that people improvised and got creative with it. But sadly you will ask or see a Q that is not related to

Islam but merely sharing personal things between Muslims to Muslims and non here and there is sometimes always someone that posts back "What is this Q doing in Ramadan?" I think it is ok that people can go off traditional topic here since there is no Islam category and sometimes ppl like to share opinions and spend some free time in a safe place for them to do it. For a category called R and S it is anything but what it is presented as. It is filled with vile and hate so I can relate why anyone in their right mind would choose to avoid it.

For the same reason there is no Christianity section or Atheist section or Hindu section.

I think you haven't been here long if you've never seen a question on Ramadan, lol. People have already started asking when the next one is.

Some Muslims do frequent R&S. Just not all, or all the time. It's not a conspiracy :)

There are no sub-sections of Religion & Spirituality...it is the section where people of all faiths can ask and answer questions.

However, it appears that many of the younger Muslims do not like R & S...there are a lot of sharp-tongued atheists, pagans, and agnostics...along with a large amount of equally sharp-tongued Christians and Jews.

So...most of them have adapted the Ramadan section to be where any and all Islamic topics are discussed.
