Well, so far, there are eleven points to you having asked this question! The variety of answers will make you smile, frown, grind your teeth or take your breath away - depending on what mood or what level of spiritual awareness the answerers were at. Please keep posting questions of a high calibre because the more intelligent questions we get on here, the more chance there is of getting intelligent answers. Rubbish in - rubbish out. Too many questions are rubbish, and then we wonder why the answers are so pathetic.

I tend to stick to answering genuine questions from Christians who are looking for answers, or for people seeking to truly understand Christianity. I don't bother with those who have already made up their minds, and are just looking for a way to insult the beliefs of others. There would be no point.

I will seriously answer questions where people are asking because they want to hear the answers. Too bad that only happens about 10 times a day.

It really depends why you're here. If you are here to question people's values and maybe make them think a little, then yes, there is a point. If you are trying to convert people to your way of thinking, then maybe. If you are trying to undermine deep-seated beliefs then there probably is no point.
When discussion and skepticism cease, there will be no intellect.

I have seen a few decent questions on here, such as, " where can I find this or that in the Bible? " Most questions are just insults. i do wish there was a Bible study section on here that is only for Christians.

the bible is a useful reference for understanding western civilisation. the KJV is also worth reading just for the way it's written
but explaining why we're here? not so much

While people likely will not change their basic beliefs, there is still a lot we can all discuss, both seriously and just to joke around.

I'm agnostic. I'm not convinced by anything I've heard so far. But I'm always willing to listen to arguments.....
