Prims in Second Life :)!!!?

Hey i was wondering how much prims the sparkly things that float threw the air are, they also come in butterflies. i have the sparkly ones, when i dragged it to the ground it just started doing the sparklys so i cant check, i also do not know how to puck them up, i cant just click on one of them and check either. :) im renting a house so it is necessary to know how many prims everything is,

thanks much!

Hi.It sounds like what your describing is a particle emitter. if this is the case, then the sparkleys or butterflies will not count against your prim count. These are emitted by a script within the object and are temporary so they don't count as real prims. Be careful though as these types of items, while cool, cause a bit of lag. If you want to view the properties of the object, but cant get close enough to click on it, try opening the edit window (either right-click on something and EDIT, or click the build button at the bottom of your screen) then left-click and "drag a box" around the object to select it-but be careful as this will also select everything behind or below it as well. Use shift and click unwanted items to unselect them. Also, if you have the edit window open before you rez an object from your inventory, it will rez already selected and you can check it out this way. (this is helpful for manipulating over sized objects or unlinked projects.
