i presume he's gay, and that he knows your gay.

its not a given, but at least you can find out if he is interested in any way at all.

if not, you can become friends instead,

gay friends are very important.

Find out if you guys have a common interest and talk to him about it, or just go up to him and say "Hey, you know what we haven't talked that much, wanna change that?." or you can ask him to hang out with you, just make the first move.

ask him to join you in something you like to do. for example I like to chase squirrels in the park. So I ask this Chihuahua dog, to go cahes squirrels. He didn't like it as much as I did, but we learned some more things about each other and now we are good friends. He asked me over to his casa this weekend... hoooowwwwwllllll!!
