why are circuit city workers so rude?

I know just because they are going into out of business, but they should still be polite to their customers... not as in store employer to customer, but as in a human being to another human being...

Today i bought a tv from them, the sales person was being extremely rude to me. he just answers "i don't know" to whatever the questions I asked him, and when I asked him if he could find the answers out, he replied "no, we are busy." After I bought the TV, I told him he was being rude and impolite, and that just because the store it is out of business, he should still treat his customers nicely. then his adviser or something came and told me I was required to leave, or else he will call the security and throw me out. When I requested to see the manager of the store, he simply replied he doesn't care anymore, because the store is closing, and he is in charge, and I was trespassing on private property (since he asked me to leave)...

I mean, just because the store is out of business, people work there should still act like human beings, right? with politeness and everything.

Update:

just because they are unfortunate to have a stupid CEO, doesn't mean their bad attitudes toward the customers are justified.

Update 2:

actually this is the first time I complained at a store...

I understand that they are going out of business, but that is not a reason to be rude to customers.

Circuit City employees have gotten screwed over twice now, first when the company fired all the higher payed knowledgeable employees, and told them they could reapply at lower pay. Now the company is in a bankruptcy liquidation. How would you feel in that situation? Knowing I'm on the way out the door when all the merchandise is gone, I wouldn't be too motivated either.

I'm quite certain you were the friendliest customer ever to grace a circuit city.

you are probably attacked without provocation everywhere you go.
