Are there any type of freshwater fish that actually look like a shark for my home aquarium?

I've had the ones that resemble a catfish and I have seen the bala sharks, but I really would like something that looks more like a shark, and that may actually grow to AT LEAST 6 or 7 inches, if not bigger... I am having a hard time finding anything that fits this Is there a such shark?

try a baby white tipped shark, they grow up to 8 inches, (sorry), and they go well with most fish.

you can find them or ones that resemble them at PetSmart.
