its only a small 19", just wondering if it will do any damage cause its a new dvd player

The player was not designed to be a stand for a TV,yes this could cause damage to the unit.

it probably would cause damage to the dvd player because of the extra weight it could maybe damage some of the components inside. i wouldn't suggest it.

i would say no, but maters how big your dvd player is. if its big its cool, but if its light and little it could be a problem
