Did I take my birth control to soon?
I was excited to get my birth control started, mostly so I could start having sex without having to worry. But, I didn't think to read the guidelines and I just went by what I've heard and what I heard from the doctor.
I started taking it last Thursday, but I generally don't have my period until the 27th-30th. I read the guidelines AFTER I started and I noticed it said to start somewhere after your period or at the begginging of the month.
Did I do anything wrong? Will it still work?
Also, it's a pill called 'Tri- Sprintec'
Tri-Sprintec can be started either on the first day of your menstrual flow or the first Sunday after the start of your menstrual flow. A second form of birth control should be used during the first month of use.
I started the Thursday after my period.. Maybe it'll still work? Seeing as how it's a 4 day difference.

It will still work just fine - just take them everyday at the same time, and don't have unprotected sex the first two weeks or so after starting it. I'm sure it won't make a difference that you started four days late.
EDIT: if you're really worried about it then don't have unprotected sex the first MONTH - wait until after you started a second pack.
