A friend of mine is having a child with a 16 year old girl. He is 20, and her parents are being very difficult about the whole situation. I am financially stable and have been blessed with an early career in retail mgmt. If given the option, I would like to have a sit down talk with her parents and take her into my custody. Living with me she would be able to finish high school via cyber school and would have rules, because as I said she would be under my custody.

I'm wondering though, are there any rules stating that this is not an option in the state of Pennsylvania? Is there a loop hole, or is emancipation an option for her? I would like to help, and potentially adopt the baby after he/she is born. (I will be just about 21 by that time.) I would like to do this in the most legal and fair way, and I'd also like to avoid a lot of stress on the girl because we all know stress isn't good for an expecting mother! I was perscribed a low dose of valium and told to take it cautiously and only when I had anexiety attacks. The pills are .5 and the bottle holds 90. I have only had 2 attacks, so the bottle had 88 in it. Last night I went out and I ended up drinking entirely too much which led to me pulling my pills out and tossing back a handful. I did my math and it seems that I took 47 tablets.

47 tablets at .5mg is 23.5mg and I'm wondering what I should do?

I'm groggy, sick to my stomach, and I feel a little detached from the world, almost like Im high. I know it was stupid to take that many valium, and trust me I'm never doing it again but right now I need some medical advice. If this is nothing and I can sleep it off then so be it but if it's going to cause me an immediate issue then I need to have it taken care of today.

So I’ve been stretching my ears for quite sometime now, I went from an 18g to a 6g in a day and it hurt like a you know what. After a few months, I wanted to stretch them further but couldn’t afford it so I took them out and they shrunk quite a bit but not fully. I then decided that I wanted to stretch them again when I got Christmas money so I went back to a 6g and I’ve up each size and now i’m a 00g. I want to stretch to a 9/16 eventually but I’m currently only concerned with my next size. I don’t see much of a difference between the 00g and the 7/16g and so I’m thinking I can just skip the 7/16 and go straight to 1/2g? I can handle pain, and my ears are fully healed so I don’t see the issue with it but I don’t want to really mess it up.

I got my puppy, Tucker, three days ago and he's two months old. The lady I bought him from was needless to say, disgusting and never got him shots and she never "de-wormed" him. I can't get him into the vet until Wednesday the 18th and I'm afraid he's suffering a little. ): Is there anything I can do to relieve him?

I know that when you get a guy aroused and don't take care of it he can get what they call "blue balls" so I'm thinking maybe that I've lately been aroused to much without any relief and I've just been mentally overstimulated. I'm 18 years old and I'm currently a sophomore in High School.

A little back ground:

When I was a freshman (two years ago) I got very sick and missed 3 months of school. During that time all of my participation classes went down the drain. I also failed out of science and math because they weren't my strong subjects and not being in class ended in me failing.

So then I repeated my freshman year last year, but I also had sophomore English and history because I passed those from home during my first run through freshman year. I got to the point last year where I really hated myself for failing and I've always been the nice girl who everybody felt the urge to pick on so that began to get me down as well.

This year rolls around and I'm supposed to be a Junior but i'm a sophomore and I'm about to turn 19. If I continue on and do this year, and then the next two years I'll turn 21 a month after I graduate. To me, this is unacceptable and I need to do something about it.

I've opted to drop out and get right into taking my GED because I know I'm smart enough to do so. I've already got a job as a waitress at Pizza Hut and I understand that's not a good job, but I do make fairly good money especially in tips. I've talked to my employer and he has said that as long as I get right into my GED i'll be able to continue working. With this being said, I heard from a teacher that in order to get my GED I have to wait till my original class would graduate and then I can get it. I don't want to wait another year and be a bum. I'm wondering, do I have to wait to take the test? Can I take it a month or two from now after I do some tutoring in my sore areas? I'm confused at that, and also a little discouraged.

Also, if you've got any personal experience as a drop out I'd appreciate hearing about it. If you're going to tell me I'm an idiot and need to stay in school then I'd really appreciate you not answering at all.

I've got a weird bump forming near the back of my left breast, and it hurts to touch. I'm afraid of what it could be but don't want to jump to conclusions that it could be a tumor. The skin is very red and very sensitive, even my arm against it hurts terribly Help!

I'm 17 and I've somehow ended up with a size 6 figure and a 34 DDD breast. It's hellish trying to find tops that can fit a girl of my size because although my breasts are large, I have a small midsection. I've got Senior Pictures coming up and I want nothing more then to hide these suckers so they don't look so large. Any tips, tricks, techniques? Help!

I was on a website and I got a link sent to me, being a curious idiot I clicked on it and it took me to a site with a rather disturbing video. I then tried to click on the video but the window kept moving around. I finally outsmarted the window by placing my arrow in the general are of where it kep jumping and clicked 'X' on the tab. Then a box popped up, and it kept coming and coming everytime I hit enter. I got really frustrated and held down my power button to shut my computer off. I then turned it back on, clicked Firefox and my entire screen went grey and a thing came up that told me to "hold down my power button so I can restart the computer" I did this, and then clicked Firefox again once I did, the same thing happened. I shut the computer off, turned it back on and used Safari.

I want to know what I can do to make it stop doing this? I need a lot of help, I know it's a lot to ask - but really you'd be saving me so much grief.

I just bought a new MP3 player and it's a Sony Walkman. The disk that came with it is so small and I'm afraid if I slip it into my laptop it's going to get caught in there and I won't be able to get it out. I have an iBook G4 if that makes any difference. I just want to know if i'll be able to get it out of the laptop after I slide it in there.

My friend is discussing a severe drinking problem his mother has with me. He's worried about her and he wants to help her, but dealing with an alcoholic mother myself I know that it's virtually impossible to stop an alcoholic without professional help. What are some programs or places she can be signed up to without her volunteering?

I am 17 and pregnant. I've been with my boyfriend for just about 2 years and I recently found out I'm pregnant. I've been with nobody but him, so I know this child is his. I'm worried about custody rights because I want him to be able to spend as much time with his son or daughter as possible but I'm afraid that because his parents have told him he's no longer allowed to see me they'll either ban him from seeing his child or worse, make it so my baby has to go to their home to visit.

His parents are very controlling and they don't like me because I come from a "broken home." They don't agree with my nose piercing or my mother's tattoo, or the fact that my parents are divorced and so she's insisting I'm not good enough for her son because of these factors. His parents are also very abusive, I know his dad hits him and his mother is the type of woman to sit back and let it go as long as it's not hurting her. I don't want my child in that envoirment , I don't even want my boyfriend around that for goodness sakes.

Anyways, my mother said he can move in here if I am because his parents keep saying they'll kick him out. That's all fine and dandy but I'm not sure they'll go through with it. I want to know what rights he has as a parent. Can he suggest he moves into my home if we go before a judge? Is there a way for me to keep them from seeing their baby? If he does move into here, should a PFA be released on them? I have so many questions, I'm sorry this is so much! Please help though, thank you.

I'm 17 and in a few months my boyfriend of a year will also be 17. His parents are very much against out relationship because they don't agree with the fact that we've had premarital sex. My parents are both fully aware of what we've done and although they don't like it, they both support my relationship. I understand that 17 is a young age to make decisions, but I'm a very passionate person and I can see myself being with him forever. His parents are very abusive, in many ways and so that's a lot of the motovation to get him out of the house he's in. I know they'd never sign for us to be eloped but he has an older sister that's 18 and I'm sure she'd sign for him. My parents are all set and ready to let him move in because he really is a great guy, we're just trying to figure everything out. Another twist to the situation is that my boyfriend is adopted. So is his sister, I don't know what that adds to the mix, but I'm sure it's bound to screw something else up, everything else is attempting to work against us. Thank God for my parents. I was excited to get my birth control started, mostly so I could start having sex without having to worry. But, I didn't think to read the guidelines and I just went by what I've heard and what I heard from the doctor.

I started taking it last Thursday, but I generally don't have my period until the 27th-30th. I read the guidelines AFTER I started and I noticed it said to start somewhere after your period or at the begginging of the month.

Did I do anything wrong? Will it still work?
