Las Vegas free room comps?

I am a total rewards card member in Vegas, and I keep getting letters telling me I can stay multiple nights free in Vegas, as well as free dinner and free access to shows. I always ignore them thinking there must be some type of catch.

What is the catch to this? Do hotels really give out free rooms to people so they gamble?

    No catch.

You probably gambled enough at some point that they want to keep coming back. The hotel figures the odds are you will lose money gambling, so its still in their favor to set you up with a free stay.

Ussualy, there are no requirements at all to these trips. But make sure and read the fine print. Ocassionly there will be restrictions on what days you can stay.

Total Rewards is great. I had one night of heavy gambling at Flamingo, and for about 2 years I got all sorts of free giveaways in the mail. Similar to what you are getting.

Yes those letters are legit. I stayed @ the Rio for 3 nights and Treasure Island for another 3 nights within a couple months of each other. Didn't gamble a bit! But I'm sure I won't be getting anymore comps soon.

Always double check when you book the room to make sure everything is paid for.

    Have fun!

You have proven yourself to them that you gamble with them. They want you back to gamble some more. Take advantage of the free offers. They are real and well worth the trip. People just hope to get those kind of offers.

Yep, they figure most people will gamble a little, buy meals and show tickets, go to clubs and do a bit of shopping, hire taxi's, buy airline tickets, go to Freemont Street, get tatoos, LOL and a whole bunch of other stuff...........The policy is good for the entire town....

They are free but you won't get another invite unless you gamble! There is no other catch.

Yes, of course they do. I'm surprised you're not taking advantage of the freebies. You're the kind of customer they like. They know you're coming to gamble, and they want you to gamble in their casino.
