Hi,
I like both names, especially Josh. But then again I don't suppose it matters what one you decide on as Josh is known to be a shortened version of Joshua. I think maybe ur mates should stick to calling you Josh, because friends are usually the ones who shorten ur name, aren't they? Joshua is still good though, don't be put of by other peoples opinions. :)

Joshua (Josh) is a very nice name, and I like it a lot. However, admittedly, its awfully common. Though that's what happens with nice names - they will grow in popularity, making the name well known. It grows well with any person as they grow. Josh is more suitable for a younger person, whilst Joshua is suitable for work (i.e. business) and as you get older.
On a whole you have a nice name,
