HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR A YOUTUBE VIDEO TO PROCESS?

The previous guy pretty got it right. It depends on how long & how large the file is that you're uploading. After you upload the file (which can take a long time) an average video of ~5 minutes will take about 5-10 minutes to be converted into Youtube's own format & resolution(s) and added into the system.

Very large, high definition videos are sometimes converted into higher quality videos depending on some criteria that Youtube uses to see if it's worth doing. (there's no need to convert a camera-phone video into a DVD quality video) High definition videos can take anywhere between 1-2 hours to appear online.

Of course all of this depends on how much traffic Youtube is experiencing at the moment. Higher website traffic = longer wait time.

It can take from several minutes to hours, it all depends on video size, not how long but how big in MB. For some stupid reason I decided to make a video 10 min long and 1GB in size, It took 13 Hrs to upload. The second reason for that was that I started uploading in the afternoon, trying to upload in the pick hours is bad for uploading. After a few days I deleted the video from YouTube and upload it again at 2:00 AM and got up and running in 2 1/2 Hrs.

Get better Internet I don't have a problem it loads a 10 min video in 30secs.

it depends on your connection speed and also the file size you're uploading... the smaller the file the faster you can upload and complete processing...

It is recommended that you upload wmv file format... good quality and smaller size.. so faster upload... and also faster processing.

Using windows movie maker -- you have to save it into the proper file format, that is wmv file (use the "save movie file" on the menu at the top left) before upload..

use windows movie maker (included in your windows machine)... it can help you make beautiful slideshow or video clip(e.g. mixing your songs with pictures/video/etc).... then save it as video file such as wmv file format... finally upload.

or .. Just get those clips you want , save & convert them, and then mix/match with pix/sound/etc using windows movie maker to create new masterpieces....

Zillatube produces mpg/mp3 formats from youtube that are compatible with windows movie maker(or media player), and more.

It is very easy to download and convert videos. Then edit those converted mp3/mpg videos with windows movie maker... save your file as wmv and then upload.

3 seconds to never. I had one try to process for like 8 hours. Then says it could not do it.

depends on the file size. it can range from about 2-20 mins.

if its a big file (HD, really long) it can take a VERY long time, from 1-25 MORE minutes.
