Just this week I took my wedding band in to the jewelry store where it was purchased for cleaning. They buffed so hard, it turned yellow. I gave it back to them and they re-plated it on the spot, no charge involved.

i have had two white gold rings for over 20 years..they have never faded or needed "redipped"...they must put some kind of plating on white gold now days....i think reeds jewelers re-dips for $5
