Honestly i think dealerships are really trying to get rid of the black eye they got back in the 60's and 70's. I also think the consumer is so apprehensive that they almost force dealerships to do things the old way. If customer goes into the dealership they want to get a price to shop with so they ask for the dealers best price, the dealer says you go shopping and i'll give you my best price when your done shopping. The customer then says no matter what i'll come back to give you a shot at the deal, then never shows up, because they bought somewhere else. Then they will tell you one thing and re-neg on it, they will say i'll buy it if you can do $10,000 plus trade, the dealer says ok you got a deal, the customer says ok i'll let you know.or the customer says they have perfect credit and they want the lowest payment so you base the payment on perfect credit rating and find out they have a 600 credit score. So until both sides get a trusting relationship things will never change, but people feel they are getting burned and the dealership feels they are getting lied to. i know a guy that told the dealer he had never been in a accident with his car when the dealer asked him if it ever had damage, when the dealer got the title the title was stamped salvaged. but they want the dealer to be straight with them.

they try to rip you off by saying 1 thing and doing something else. besides their prices are too high.

I do not like the salesman they are a bit two pushy. they will not let you look at what you want to . they have to show you what they think you can afford.
