How long can pop corn stay fresh?
I am thinking of wrapping some pop corn for my son birthday party at the Sunday school. But wondering how long will pop corn stay fresh in a plastic cup that is covered with plastic wrap on top?
If different type of pop corn give different freshness time, please let me know them.
Thanks!

popcorn is good and will stay just fine a couple of days. i make it often enough its usualy not to bad. i have had some a few days later.
i make large pot and put in a bag. heck i have even just left in bowl over night and it was just fine the next day...
though i would suggest ziplock sandwhich bags instead only for better seal and in case the kids dont eat it or finish it they can just close the bag. you can get a box from the dollar store so not to be to costly.
freshest would be of course to make it that day but sunday school i know is usualy early morning...so that can be difficult...sat nite for the next freshest...but friday nite would be just fine as well.
Enjoy!

it will go stale kinda fast is there is moisture in the air like in the summer time -- if cooler out then it will last longer uncovered...but if you make it and put it in a paper bag or plastic bag it will last a few days. and still be just fine.
I do agree with tormentt on the sandwhich bags though over the cups.

I don't know but sometimes I store it on the day it's popped and eat it the next day. I just put it in some seran warp it works great and it tastes delicious the next day, we even use it on road trips! Good luck!

cooked popcorn goes stale and gets tough and chewy in a few hours even when sealed airtight, uncooked last for many months.
