danger in Switzerland?

No, Switzerland is a very safe country, and there are no dangers regarding elements either. Some people may think avalanches occur, but the majority of villages in the really mountainous areas don't have homes or buildings alongside the actual mountains, so there's no threat of being stuck in an avalanche. No other dangerous forces of nature occur their either, such as hurricanes, landslides, etc.

One of the safest places I've ever been! Clean, neat and friendly too. BUT, when in Zurich and Geneva especially, do remember you are in a big city and you should take the same basic precautions as you would in ANY big city. No place is perfect and there are always some places you probably should avoid. Your hotel will know -- but these places, at least in Switzerland, are not in the normal areas where tourists find themselves.

Switzerland is a safe country. But as a tourist, just like anywhere else in the world, use your common sense. Don't leave your purse unwatched, don't put yourself in a potentially dangerous situation, and you will be perfectly fine.

Switzerland is paradise but do not abuse it ok do not throw paper down or you could get hurt
