i really feel reading does stimulates the mind and helps us grow mentally

Where do you think writers get htere sence of knowlege from? other books! they read so many books they get outlines,ideas, and settings /plots. Also instead of playing vidoe games,texting or watching tv you can be in a whole different fantisty world with dragans and talk turtles,life is about exploring and you dont have to go to a tropical rain forest or desert to explor just pick up a good book and you are in a new world allready.

Reading has given me the world.

First, I read english, and then in High School, began to study French so I could read the signs in Quebec, which also helped me make friends.

In Japan, I began studying because there are very few English signs or speakers, and soon became literate in Japanese, with rudimentary skills in Chinese and Korean.

As I have traveled, I have also studied Russian, Vietnamese, Greek and Spanish, and every time, reading has led to speaking and many friendships.

Reading has given me the world, and you might want to go there too.

Reading is important because you get the see things through anothers eyes, and imagine an experience that you never though possible. It opens your minds to new ideas, and may allow you to view things from another perspective.

Reading a wide variety of sources is important in today's society so that we can learn from the past and prevent mistakes in the future. Not enough people in today's society read, which is why we are seeing historical mistakes repeat themselves. Reading also stimulates the mind and can cause people to think and come up with answers to the problems & issues facing society today.

reading is like an exercise for your mind. it helps your brain to grow strong and healthy. the reason why i like reading is because whenever i read something i can see the pictures in my mind and so its like watching a movie instead of watching just a bunch of boring words on a page. watching movies on televisions kill your brain cells so i rather watch a movie by reading.
